Creating a Vision Book is a ton of fun.
I love mine, created only last weekend in a hotel room of all places, and today I’m going to share with you how I made it. First of all, just in case you haven’t heard of its original source of inspiration the Vision Board, see here for more about that. You will need to understand the premise of both before you get started.
So, the Vision Book itself is where you need to start. You could either use a notebook, an art book, a scrap book a photo album or even blank pages that you holepunch and then put into a file or ring binder. My book of choice comes from here (this link takes you to the exact one I used) and these are also the same brand as the ones I give out on my Raw Coach Training. They’re tactile, sturdy, have a really quality feel to them and the pages have enough weight to be able to hold many images and not be see through (very important for me!).
My new Vision Book is square with a white cover (see picture; the scan makes it look rectangular but it's actually a perfect square). I chose this because I wanted something compact to create within and also to feel as if I had a blank canvas on the outside as well as the inside. This was because when I came to create it I was at a place where I felt that I was open to a completely new perspective on things in my life; I just needed my inner/ higher self to be able to come through and guide me as to what images I chose.
Coming to clarity and creating simplicity for moving forward were my key intentions for this particular Vision Book, and I recommend you get clear on yours before you start as they will inform everything...
