The Raw Transformation Experience 2009

Things are hotting up for my first ever live 3-day event happening at the end of August (Thursday 27th - Saturday 29th August, 2009).

Some of you will know that in years gone by I created and organised the UK's "Fresh Festival" which was the first raw food festival in the UK, comprising of 15 or so different international raw food speakers, chefs and educators. These festivals were fabulous, and really helped unite raw foodies from around Europe as well as providing a great long weekend of world-class education and entertainment. I have many happy and precious memories from those events! (Above is a picture of myself with Pete Vincent, Chad Sarno and Woody Harrelson at our second Fresh Festival, in Somerset, October 2005).

Since I sold The Fresh Network, the host company of the Festivals, sadly the Festivals have not continued. In fact the UK has become fairly lacking in terms of "big" raw food events overall, which is a real shame.

The idea for "The Raw Transformation Experience: 3 Days to Dream BIG, Chart Your Map and Step into Your Most Sparkling Raw Self - and Life!" came about because I felt it was time to create an event that was more than "an event". Inspired by the 3-day non-food workshops I have attended in the US, I realised that I could bring the very best of what I have, combine it with some awesome raw chefing (we have two amazing raw food chefs featuring at this event, Russell James and John Schott) add in some powerful "experiences" (secret for now!) and create an event so unique and so life-changing that it would be a very different affair to the Festivals, giving people the opportunity to immerse themselves in a complete "curriculum" for 3 days, and literally walk out with THE most inspiring and compelling blueprint for their diet, self and life EVER.

Yes, this is the event I wish I had had all those years ago, because it's about so much more than the food... it's about LIVING...and living to the max! (That's why we choose high-octane fuel for ourselves, right?!)

Why this, why now?

This year I have moved to a completely new level, or depth, with the work I've been doing.

Those of you who have worked with me or are working with me, especially in Raw Magic and Mastery and the Let's Get Rawganized! program, have seen that the kind of things I've been talking about are way beyond what I've talked about before and are also taking on a new and more evolved and well-rounded approach. Gone are the days where it is all about how raw you are (or aren't), now are the days for being fluid and finding peace, joy and a way of being with raw foods that supports who you are in a way that you LOVE and also who you are becoming... and that's just perfect! It is about consciously choosing your path with unparalelled enthusiasm rather than feeling as if you are having to walk down one because that's the way everyone else does it. It's about owning your truth and acknowledging your unique lifestyle, personality and way of being in the world and finding a way of eating raw that fits in with that while working towards a new, higher way of living and being on ALL LEVELS.

This is just a hint at what's going on with my work and this event.

What particularly excites me about the event is the whole theme that's running through it: It's all about the Journey. At this event there will literally be maps, backpacks, vision work, tools, worksheets and you'll be plotting your path... it's actually an interactive food and life vision workshop. My promise is that by the end of the event each person will have a complete and what I call "squealicious" gameplan for the next chapter of their raw food life and lifestyle, something so awesome and so compelling that they fall in love with raw food, their Self and life again, plus everything they need to evolve their journey at any time in any way they need to in the future. It's the ultimate in raw food coaching and raw life coaching combined.

Not only that, but there will be:

• Masses of inspiring teaching and coaching from me - including my newest and best material and live coaching on the stage

• Raw food demos from Russell James and John Schott (Many of you have heard of Russell, he and I have been working together for years and he is, as far as I'm aware, the UK's best raw chef talent. John, on the other hand is a very well-kept secret from the US. Hardly anyone knows about him but he is awesome! He has a raw food restaurant in Miami and has been training with David Jubb for a number of years, he is really looking forward to coming to the UK for the first time to share with you)

Return of "Raw Food for Beginners" Classes

I am delighted and excited to announce that thanks to my relocation, I can once again run my all-time favourite class, "Raw Food for Beginners".

I've been teaching this class for 9 years now and of course it does get better each and every time : )

This time around I am offering it a little differently to how I have before - the class is the same winning format but there's more... Firstly, this time it is in my home and limited to 20 places (usually I teach 35-40 in a larger public venue). Post-Coach Training 2 - October 2007 Group

Not long back from my second Raw Coach Training and wow, what another great week!

There were 12 ladies in all (come on guys, where are you?!), and, as per my promise and as per the last group, each of them came away with a very different, very unique niche within the raw food "world" which you and I will come to admire and look on at in awe over the coming months and years, I'm sure.

Russell James' First Solo Raw Food Event - Yay!

If you've never heard of Russell James before, then I consider it my duty today to introduce the two of you : )

Russell is, I believe, the most talented raw food chef in England - nay the UK! He has been trained and/or worked along side no less than Cherie Soria, Chad Sarno, Matthew Kenney and... me! We co-ran the UK's first ever Raw Food Dinner Parties last year while I ran The Fresh Network. They were a huge success and I don't doubt that anyone who attended would fully agree that Russell's food tastes absolutely as good as it looks.

So... exciting news!

Raw Coach Training By Correspondence?

Those of you who already know about my Raw Coach Training will know that at the present time it's only available live and in-person over five-and-a-half-days in Cambs, UK. (And only one single place left for this year's remaining training at the end of October!).

As I've been asked a lot recently whether I'm going to run a Training in the US and/or by correspondence, here is my official line on it...

Training in the USA

I would love to do a training in the US, but at the present time there are three trainings in the diary for 2008 and all of them are at the same UK location for a number of practical, professional and personal reasons.

That said, I currently have one of my assistants checking in to the legalities of me running a Raw Coach Training in the USA, and depending on her findings I may slot one in next July or August depending on whether it works logistically, legally and with what else is going on in my life.

In the meantime if anyone reading knows how I would stand legally running a Training in the USA (it is the "earning money abroad" bit that I think would potentially pose the biggest issues), then please do let me know!

All that aside, I am now able to pass on some very handy travel agency details to those of you who are happy to fly to England but would like lower flight costs. The company in question can usually secure flights at something around 50% off the normal prices you might get through your own travel agent. Definitely worth finding out more about if that is the only issue.

Training By Correspondence

I have not ruled this out entirely, but as 2008 is all mapped out I am not sure how I would fit writing and delivering a Training by correspondence in right now. Also, I do place a LOT of value on the face-to-face aspect of the Training, so do know that if a correspondence course were to happen it wouldn't carry the same weight as a live Training.

At this point in time that's actually all I can say as my focus is on the Live UK-based Trainings, with the potential of a US one coming second to that.
