Without a doubt one "absolute must have" in your raw food success kit is a very clear sense of "your highest vision".
What does that mean exactly?
It means that if your desire is to go raw and stay raw (most, if not all of the time) then you will be on what is likely to be a pretty intensive journey of growth. You will be constantly evolving and changing, so you will most definitely need new territories, goals and dreams to move towards.
I have noticed something about myself and others on the raw food journey. When life is going well, we are in the flow and we are going after what we want, going or staying raw is EASY. It is joyful, it is not even an issue. Anything else just seems almost daft, to be honest! But as soon as we turn our backs on our true selves, our sincere desires and anything else that would be great for us (if we would but give ourselves permission), then we automatically turn to bread, cheese, chocolate, wine... you name it. Basically anything to match our "dumb myself down" mindset.
Does this sound familiar?
This week I have some questions for you. Some are tame and some not so. You will choose to answer the questions you feel ready for, and that is fine. We are all at different stages on our journey. My job is to let you know that anything you desire is possible. The fact that the dream even exists for you is not a coincidence. It is the seed that is waiting for you to give it the time and attention it needs to grow. It is a gift that has been given to you probably before birth, and you have the opportunity to unwrap it, layer by layer, every day of your life with your decisions, actions and the amount you consciously allow yourself to spend time with it and enjoy it.
If you do only one thing in your very precious life, let it be that you follow your highest visions with every ounce of passion, vision and courage you can muster. The goal is to have unwrapped your present and be surrounded by tissue paper, reams of ribbons and millions of shiny metallic stars before you get to the end of your days, and ideally, if you get your skates on, you might find yourself even having opened two or three!
Find yourself a clean sheet of paper and a favourite pen, because here's your questions...
1) Do you have goals that stretch you? If yes, please list them all out.
2) Do you have personal dreams for your life as a whole… short term, medium term and long term? As above, please list them out.
3) How about for yourself as a person: Do you have an ideal vision of how you would look, feel, think and be if you were the person you really wished you could be (or secretly know that you are)? Please write down what this looks like.
4) If you could spend your time doing anything you wanted, anything at all, and money was not an issue, what would that be? What would your normal daily life look like? Where would you be? What would you do? Who would you be with?
5) If you could leave a legacy to the world, a message that you felt everyone should hear and you had the means to make that legacy a world-wide teaching for millennia to come, what would that be and why?
6) Are you living your dreams? If not, why not? What is stopping you?
7) Are you prepared to go after your dreams? If not, what is stopping you?
8) If you knew that whatever one huge single dream you had would come true with just a little bit of effort, what would that dream be? Why is it important to you?
9) If someone a little braver than you could help you make your dreams come true, would you ask for their help?
I'd like you to have a ponder on all of your answers.
There are way too many people who die with their beautiful present left unwrapped. Please don't let it be you.
If you are ready to make big changes then here are some ideas for how you can do that:
1) Work with a coach, mentor, book or other resource that will give you the guidance and cheerleading you need. These are worth every penny if you take action and make your dreams come true!
2) If your dream is to be a raw food coach (or a more successful one) check out my all-new Raw Coach Training. This is the best training to be a raw food coach that has ever been created.
3) Commit to yourself that you will give your life and your dreams everything you have. You will step up and face your fears, do what needs to be done, be 100% true to yourself and your hearts desires, and just keep on growing, because, this is where it's at - this is LIFE!
4) Decide 2012 is YOUR Year.
Everything starts with a vision, and dreams can come true. Your going and staying raw depends on you being true to yourself. I invite you to take the time to think about exactly what that would look like…
