I'm in LA right now, but before I left I filmed a short video to answer the question, "Karen, what do you eat on a plane?"
Considering the flight to LA is 10+ hours and there's the 2 hours to get to the airport, another 2 hours before the plane takes off and then an extra hour or so at the other end, making sure I have enough food to sustain me for what equates to 3/4 of a day is, needless to say, important.
So in this video you'll see exactly what I packed for this flight. As it turned out I didn't even touch the trail mix or the bananas, so even though I didn't pack a ton of stuff it was actually more than enough.
