Hi Karen, You are amazing! Hey, we're having a potluck in San Luis Obispo(4 hours north of LA by car) every Wednesday at 7pm. You are always welcome. Check it out through Smiling Dog Cafe.
Have great travels.
Thank you,

Grace and Jovan

Karen - My husband and I were hoping that you'd have an event planned in LA where we could meet you as we live here and have been following you now for a couple of months. We got your ebook during the Rawkathon.

We used to live in the UK for 5 years and so really enjoyed today's post about Whole Foods Market as it's exactly like what we experienced when we first came back from London, which was also after we became vegan and largely "raw".

Thanks again for all that you do to promote a healthier lifestyle and planet!

Hi Karen,

Lovely to hear from you again.
I luuuuuuuve the energy in your post, it lifts me up!
And like Claire, I can hardly wait to hear more about your LA adventures and all the new plans!

So glad that you are enjoying L.A.

The weather is beautiful right now.
Let me know if you would like some recommendations for raw food restaurants or things to do/see.

I hope you have the best time ever. :-)

Wow, Karen, I am dreaming of your CA sun and missing Whole Foods as we are sledding, making snowmen, and having many snowball fights!

When my son lost his first tooth, he cried when he found out the tooth fairy was actually going to take it away! I had to make a deal with him that I would talk to the tooth fairy and she could just leave him a note and I would give him the money she planned on leaving if he would let me keep the tooth...that way he could still have it around. My daughter just lost her first tooth last week and even though she was second in line, the excitement was just the same. She was at a friend's birthday party when it came out and I missed it! I was sooo sad. But, it was lots of fun being there for her first toothfairy visit! :) There are so many great adventures as parents - I can't wait for what lies ahead!

Have enough fun and sun for all of us and I look forward to hearing what you have up your sleeve!

You reminded me of my favorite fruit salad ever. Young Thai Coconut meat, strawberries and ripe mangoes, all cut into small bites and tossed in a bowl ... yumm!!
Have fun and good luck in LA!!

Ooh! Enjoy the sun and all the fun! I'm headed out next Friday for my little bit of sun-catching vacation and I'm soooo looking forward to it. I can only imagine how great you are feeling right now with all that lovely CA sunshine, Karen!

Lots of love to you,

p.s. The fairy doesn't only leave notes and money, sometimes he/she leaves drawings and gifts, too! It's such a magical time! Enjoy!

Hi Claire, that's so sweet about your little ones!!

Yes it is a bit "secret" style over here but one day I shall tell... all good.

A little British birdy tells me it's due to SNOW there on Sunday and Monday and is the coldest winter for 13 years?! Methinks I might just stay awhile... : )

Claire - The Raw Bombshell

Karen I'm so excited for you. It all sounds so amazing and intriguing. Are you sure you're not writing for some soap opera? Your cliff hangers are so suspense laden, I'm on the edge of my chair wanting to know more!!!

Very cute about Luke and his teeth - the tooth fairy had to write a note to my wee girl when the eldest one's tooth fell out (the wee one was mighty upset that the tooth fairy wasn't visiting her). So the tooth fariy explained how she couldn't leave her (the youngest one) any money until there was a tooth. There was lots of glitter on the letter and she was thrilled!

Enjoy LA and bring some sun back please - its cold here. xx
