Wow, it’s been an amazing couple of weeks and you may or may not know that for the past 8 days I’ve been in the US, spending 6 days in LA and from Monday night til this coming Saturday in warm and sunny Tucson, Arizona.
There’s so much to say, I don’t know where to start, but here’s the headlines!
Wednesday 12 Nov: Flew from London to LA, arriving at hotel mid afternoon. I was there to attend Ali Brown’s final Online Success Blueprint Workshop – a vision I had held for myself for the past two years. Finally I was there!
Thursday 13 Nov: Day 1 of the workshop and I met two people who receive Successfully Raw – how cool! This was a powerful day for me as I wrangled about how to move forward with my raw food work/ service direction, torn between two possible avenues - totally unexpected dilemma, but isn’t that always the way?!
Friday 14 Nov: Day 2 and by this time I had started to meet some really amazing people – some I already knew through the world of the internet and others who were new to me, but what an AMAZING place to be! Ali herself really is an amazing woman and when her own business mentor came on stage – my goodness, now that caused a stir. Minds were exploding left and right to see what “a tiny redhead from Scotland” has achieved in her career so far. Truly inspiring and unforgettable.
Saturday 15 Nov: Day 3 – the final day of the workshop, and this was a turning point for me. After much to-ing and fro-ing and with the help of two wonderful friends I made a big decision. From that moment forward the synchronicities kicked in in a big way and I knew I had made the right decision, even though I had had pretty explosive anxiety dreams the night before!
Sunday 16 Nov: Special Add-On Day – this was an extra day session for those who wanted more on the spiritual/expansive side of business. I had to be there and I’m glad I was, I was massively inspired by all the presenters and got some great ideas for something I now plan to do event-wise in 2009 – stay tuned! Straight after the event ended I was whisked off to a hotel 30 minutes away and filmed for two raw-related projects that you’ll see come to fruition in the next couple of months or so... very exciting!
Monday 17 Nov: This was a big day for me as I had booked a professional photo shoot with the incredibly talented Lesley Bohm. Lesley’s reputation goes before her and thanks to some strategic thinking I managed to secure a whole day with her for straight after the workshop which worked out perfectly. You can see one of the shots now on this blog (top right), and there’ll be more to come soon, but thank goodness for Mr Hair and Make Up, Don, who did an amazing job on me, despite me having “nightmare hair” (he said it’s so healthy it’s almost impossible to work with!)... he was such a wonderful guy, so down-to-earth and friendly, and aside from his incredible talent being so blatantly obvious, you wouldn’t have a clue that most of the time he’s working for A-Listers and working his magic on them for their screen appearances. The day was a lot of fun, and finally I have some shots that really show the real me and what I do. I look forward to sharing more with you soon (you can catch one more at the end of this post).
Tuesday 18 Nov: After a night flight to Tucson, I awoke in the gorgeous “Bogart” suite at my secret B&B location! I had the luxury of a day to recompose and chill out a little, although I had a TON of emails to attend to as I had been unable to send emails in LA for some weird techie reason. The day was beautifully broken by a luxury facial that I was once again whisked away to and then back from. This is a lifestyle I could easily get used to, if only I didn’t miss my boy...
Wednesday 19 Nov: Day 1 of my second business event – this time with my coach Kendall SummerHawk and my coaching buddy Nancy Marmolejo. We spent the first half of the day doing work with Kendall’s horse Chester – very revealing in terms of what it flags up for people, and Nancy and I were no exceptions. Very moving, deep reaching work – and this was just the start! Uh-oh!
Thursday 20 Nov: The second and final day of our retreat with Kendall. More horse work, which was thankfully easier, and some mastermind coaching which was infinitely useful in consolidating around the dilemma I had last Thursday. Nancy flew home earlier this evening, leaving me now here to enjoy 40+ more hours to take care of some work projects and hopefully catch a bit of the sun!
It’s been weird being away from home for so long, but good and I definitely had to be here. I found that every day I wanted to blog but literally couldn’t – the days were very long and intense and when they weren’t I just wanted to get an early night! I know this stuff is big because usually I go to bed really late and I never feel tired before 11pm but this past week I just haven’t been able to stay awake, despite eating raw.
The changes that have occurred this past week are literally phenomenal. I knew they would be but didn’t know how that would show up. What it means for me is that I now feel more “on purpose” than ever. What it means for YOU is that you can look forward to some really great gifts, invitations and opportunities from me in 2009!
2007 was the year that TheRawFoodCoach.com really started getting going and it was amazing.
2008 has been the year where I have been working harder at a more raw-business-orientated level (helping others grow their businesses, specifically)
2009 is going to be the year of unprecedented change and inspiration – there are so many great things happening inside and out right now, there’s no other way it can possibly show up and I look forward to sharing my journey with you...
To those of you who read me and/or email me I truly want to thank you. Doing this work is a ton of fun, endlessly rewarding and quite simply my calling, but having such a loving and responsive audience (i.e YOU!) is what makes it so worthwhile and affirming to me. So thank you... thank you so much for walking this dream with me.
Until soon, as there's some big announcements to come in the next few hours!
