Is Step Up to the Plate just for people who want to become coaches,or will someone just starting out also gain a lot of useful information?


Great article Karen!

1. No cooked food this week- I have been letting little bits slip in and I am ready put a full stop to it!
2. Turning off the TV this week as a long overdue experiment:)
3. Want to transition out of my day job and am actively looking for signs as to what my next step should be.



I guess I'll give my update from the past week.

I did do a juicy Monday, and it felt so good! So we'll be sticking with that for quite some time! :D

I took 9 big boxes plus a 10 gallon tank with lid to the Goodwill yesterday, AND found clothes that used to be too big for my kiddos that I had boxed up, JUST IN TIME before going out and spending money unnecessarily to get them more stuff! This purging is still and ongoing process, but it feels SO good! :D

While I haven't written in every book/e-book every day, and some I haven't touched yet, I have done more writing in the past week than I have in a long while. :) So while it may not be perfection, it definitely IS progress! :D

What a great article, Karen!

Here we go.

1, Adding more sprouts to my diet.

2, Clean out the clutter from the wardrobe, the bathroom and the kitchen and prepare for the arrival of boxes from my previous home.

3, I recently met someone who I feel is the person I waited for all my life. It seems the attraction is mutual but we're very cautious. My vision is to join our forces and build a life together that fulfills our dreams.

p.s.: Karen, I'm totally addicted to your Raw Goddess Elixir! I drink it like 3-4 times a week!

1) only fruit for breakfast (I'm a toast lover)
2)last week someone moved out of my life who is very unhappy and wants others to be - I am still adjusting to this change, so I will count this.
3)my vision is for optimal health and energy!


Some of these are daily and one of them is weekly, but I think this for the feeling of accountability it provides! :D

Here it goes:

1. I'm going to juice one day per week (usually Monday, if not, then Tuesday), unless it's a hard-hitting week physically. On those weeks, I will have one nutmylk or smoothie on that day as well.

2. Start purging my house and finishing the unpacking process from the move so that I feel comfortable and not smooshed in my new home. (We downsized by ~800 sq. ft.)

3. I will finish my e-books (at least two of them) and continue working on my book for an absolute minimum of 15 minutes per day per book. (I know I'm a busy Mama, but even I should be able to grab 45 minutes from somewhere in my day.)

Hey Karen

I have been searching for something to get me back on track for the last few weeks. I followed a wonderful programme for 3 weeks and felt & looked better than I had in years. But unfortunately work pressures and laziness has put me on the slippery slope and I cant get off it - hope this helps.

1. This week I must must must have a green juice each morning and a raw lunch - for the passed few weeks I have resorted to quick fixes (non raw) in my work's cafe. If I can do this, I am less likely to be bad in the evenings!

2. I have recently lost 1 stone since going raw and I have no clothes to wear, although reluctant to throw these out incase I put it on again - I will get rid of my "big " clothes to clear out the clutter and also I am going to remove TV out of my evening routine for this week. Once I start watching tv in the evening, that's my workout out the window

3 Vision - I am at a weight that I am happy with for the first time ever - I would just like to tone up therefore my long term goal is to become more lean and if I do the above I will feel "light" again - wonderful feeling.

I pray for the strangth and courage to do this as this is a difficult week as I am travelling wth work and have a family get together so wish me luck!!

1. Since I am transitioning to a raw lifestyle, I am trying to reduce my intake of bread and chocolate. I am challenging myself to cut out bread and chocolate over this next week.

2. I have read your "How To Get Started" ebook and love the recipes. I need to find a nut milk bag, though. I want to try green juices, and have a blender but no strainer!

3. My vision for the 2009 version of me is a slim (size 4), trim, and clear body ready for a new year and a new career.

I am writing this down after this is posted, and will reread my goals everyday for the next week. Hope all goes well!

This is so impeccably timed by the universe for me:
1: Food........I move into a predominately juice stage, to include green juice each day.
and mono meals.
2: Already busy going through my life , home & office ridding myself of anything I do not need..will step this up.Clearing the decks .for my `Vision`
Making space in every area of my life.
3:I will be expressing that a relationship has evolved to a place that does not work for me.This relationship crosses many & personnal !
The evolvement is not completely clear........yet it will now change in some form.
My decision on this will shift everything I Know.....

Dear Karen,

As always, you are an inspiration and a mentor to me. There are BIG changes coming my way, and I can't thank you enough for coaching me at the start of my new life and journey.

Food: I've had the call to "purify" my diet for a couple of months to really boost my immune system and be in optimal health. I will start that tomorrow with a green juice feast for at least 3 days.

Environment: I am spending the next week getting rid of every single thing that I don't love or need. (Holiday week of Thanks Giving in the US. Wonderful time to live in gratitude and give away what no longer serves me at this time in my life.)

Vision: 2009 will be a BIG year of change for me. I've recently found my True Life Purpose and I am ready to step into it and share my Truth. I've kept wonderful and amazing things on my spiritual journey hidden from the world, and it is time to speak my truth.

Great post Karen, I've been holding people accountable to commitments such as these on my Little Black Dress Programme and it's really helping :)

My commitments for the next week are:

Food - Drink 2 litres of green juice every day and have 3 days of juice only

Environment - Get my office area sorted so that I am more comfortable and productive

Vision - By end of March 2009 I will be living in my own 2 bedroom Victorian cottage with gorgeous fire places, a courtyard garden and a raw food kitchen! :) I will commit to do a vision board on this in the next 7 days

Here are my commitments, which I'll report back on next Friday when the week is up.

1) Food - Before I came to the US I was adhering to a new "no more eating after 8pm" rule. This trip has made that more of a challenge, but as from today even though I don't leave til tomorrow I'm back to it - I know it makes a HUGE difference to me.

2) Environment - When I get home on Sunday I'm rearranging my office, making it even more suppotive of my mission and goals. This may mean some subtractions, but one addition is another huge pinboard for my new business vision.

3) Vision - I have many but the shortest term one is to launch and roll out in style my new web site in the next 7 days so that everyone into raw food knows about it (might need some help - stay tuned!).

I commit to all of the above with my mind, body, heart and soul.

And so it is.
