This article is wonderful!!! Thank you so much! It is just what I was looking for and needing. I went raw 11 years ago, but since then could never really do it again 100%, the biggest reason being, I didn't know WHY be 100%, it seeming so restrictive and even fanatic. Hi Karen, I did enjoy reading this article. One sentence flows into the next. I found it interesting when you said that when people are stressed, angry, hungry etc they reach for foods with the same energy. We live in a world which is quite up and down and people do reach for foods like sugar that dissolve difficult emotions. I also believe that a person's failure to commit to the raw lifestyle is due to a 10,000-year history of cooked food. We have built up lifetimes of karma associated with cooked food and an inability to commit to genuine nutrition. Some people must have a "huge rush" towards cooked food if they are withdrawn from it for too long. The strongest drive in people is familiarity. People can find it very difficult to commit to raw food. I have discovered a powerful transformational tool: Soul Talk. See www.directaccess2u.com. Soul Talking uses Muscle Testing and is more advanced than Kinesology. You could even learn this therapy yourself (and to help others) as it does dissolve deep-rooted issues to raw food and past-lifetime issues. It is working for me. this article has come at a great time; the most difficult time for raw fooders in the north countries like Canada, where I live. It's cold and fresh (organic) food is hard to come by. Thanks for the inspiration; the article sorts out and expresses clearly my own vague and nagging feelings and then gives the feeling of truely "shedding light" and warmth on the path ahead.
