Not for the first time I've been asked if there's a raw food recipe equivalent to popcorn?
Anyone know of one?
I'm pretty sure I heard Dr Doug Graham once say that dehydrated Brussels sprouts taste like popcorn but I've never actually tried it...
Sounds curious, that's for sure... not a great fan of Brussels!

I may say Pop Rice. This is more nutritious than pop corn. This is easy to make and all it takes is to sun-dry cooked rice or left-over rice for about 1 day or whichever comes first - if already dried then it's already ready to cook. Then just fry it just the way pop corn is cook. And voila, a nutritious pop rice.

Greetings Karen,
Iya am a new subscriber to your wonderful and informative website site and your e-zine. I am really lovin watching the Vita Mix demo's, for real. Good teaching tool, simple, fun and delicious receipes! Thanks much! One quick question: I would appreciate any thoughts on why it is good to use fresh coconut water and it's meat in raw food prep. for smoothies, blenders, etc. Have a blessed day!

Here is a different take on "raw popcorn" - I haven't tried it myself but it may inspire someone else :)

Took me a few days, but I actually found a recipe. I haven't tried it, I'm not that much of a cauliflower fan, but here's the link! I might just break down this weekend and see what its like. Its about 3/4's down the page.
