Hi Karen, I've been doing lots of research on vegan and raw diets over the past year (including experimentation) and wanted to know what you thought about the theories behind food combining. I've read lots of opinions on the subject and am totally confused to to why I should, or should not be concerned about combining foods. What do you think about the subject? Any light you could share on the subject would be most helpful. Thanks, Jackie
Hi Jackie, great question and thanks for asking it as I've been meaning to write about this for a while. I too, as you can probably imagine, have read a fair bit on food combining over the years also.
And having read a fair amount and then observed the way my own body responds to certain combinations, as well as discussing this with clients and students, I think it is fair to say this:
Everybody (or should that be every body?) is different!
