It's been AGES since I wrote a more personal entry about all that's going on with me.
If you're interested, read on. If not, stay tuned anyway as there'll be lots of blogging going on over the next few days!
OK, so I'll start with today and work back and then around : )
So today was a day of fun and outings with Luke, my son. We caught a train to Cambridge (he loves the train and I normally drive) and as soon as we arrived we promptly hopped onto the city tour bus where we headed for the open top so we could get the best views. It was packed up there, and while Luke was having a ball ("It's very high up here isn't it mummy : ) ?") I was trying to control my hair which was flying around all over the place!
Although we ended up on lower deck (Luke's choice, he was getting cold) it was actually time and money well spent as I learned more about Cambridge in those 40-odd minutes than I think I have to date! We hopped off at the Lion Yard so that we could get a new toy for Luke (for being so good recently) and a stash of yummy stationery for me (for being so good recently)... Paperchase here I come!!
Missions accomplished and both very happy, we stopped off for some lunch in an Italian restaurant, hopped in a cab back to the station and munched on an M&S fruit salad while we waited for our short train ride back to Ely. A very eventful 3 hours if ever there was one : ) ...Shame I couldn't get any clothes shopping in though!
Back to yesterday, well Saturday nights are for fun, right?
Well, although a good boogie is long overdue, so was a trip to the cinema. The last film I saw at the flicks was The Pursuit of Happyness (awesome) starring Will Smith and his cute little son Jaden. Oh how I do love the big screen! I just love being transported into different worlds, perspectives and emotions - and the music is usually fantastic too. And last night, lo and behold, Spider-Man 3 was showing and it had had great reviews to boot. So I booked two tickets and off we went to see the 2+ hour film which was truly great escapism and entertainment. Talk about sweaty palms : ) Highly recommended!
And although I have been having a life that extends beyond Cambridge and yesterday, I don't even know where to start (although I can report that I have been swimming and steaming every weekday morning and am still loving it, have read my first novel in years last weekend and loved that too, and generally have been looking after myself really really well - including much more sleep - so my eye bags have gone!) Result : ) Oh, there's been so many things really when I think about it, and did I mention how happy I am that the sun's been shining so much recently? Wow, what a difference THAT makes. I'm sure you know what I mean if you've been experiencing the same yourself...
With all that said, I shall press on to more relevant items!
As far as The Raw Food Coach goes, the recent past work-wise has been incredible varied and rewarding.
Here's what I've been up to, aside from my usual ongoing 1:2:1 coaching:
The 30 Days To Raw Group Program that ran from Mon 2 April until Tues 1 May
Being accepted onto my favourite coach's Platinum Inner Circle Coaching Program (which means two trips to Tucson in the next few months)
Working on the creation and design of the forthcoming 4-tiered Successfully Raw Membership Program
Creating the materials and course info page for the forthcoming 5 day live Raw Coach Training (the new info page will go live any day)
Prepping 10 different raw food recipes in my kitchen and being filmed all ready for my web site, YouTube and the new membership offerings. Very exciting!
I've even booked myself a holiday for June, which I have to say is a major achievement as it's been 9 or 10 years since I had a proper work-free holiday!
